Guided by vision & legacy

Calabash Farms is guided by the vision and care of Obakunle Akinlana and Ursula Akinlana, whose work is deeply rooted in cultural preservation, storytelling, and community building.

Through years of dedication to African-centered education, performance, and land stewardship, they have created more than a venue — they have cultivated a space where tradition is honored, creativity is nurtured, and community is sustained.

Their leadership reflects a commitment to living culture — not as something distant or historical, but as something practiced daily, shared openly, and carried forward with intention.
